FAQ

Sewer Repair Questions, Answered

How do you decide between repair and replacement?

With a camera. If damage is isolated to one or two locations in an otherwise sound line, a spot repair makes sense. If the camera shows systemic deterioration, patching becomes throwing good money after bad — and we'll show you the footage either way.

Do sewer repairs need a permit?

Yes — sewer work requires permits and inspection in Florida municipalities. Unpermitted sewer work is a common source of the code violations we're hired to legalize, so we never skip it.

My yard smells like sewage but nothing is backing up. What is it?

Often a cracked line leaking into the soil, a damaged cleanout or a vent issue. Odor with lush green patches in the yard is a classic sign of a leaking sewer line — worth a camera and locate before it becomes a backup.

Can you install the sewer line for my addition or new bathroom?

Yes — and because we're also the general contractor, the plumbing rough-in, slab work and inspections are sequenced on one schedule instead of three subcontractors pointing at each other.
